Incentive, Conference & Event Society Asia Pacific, in partnership with CEI
The Incentive Conference & Event Society Asia Pacific (ICESAP) was founded in 2014 to create a single ‘Peak Body’ for the Incentive Travel, Conference & Business Event sector across Asia Pacific. In 2015 this segment was valued in excess of US$150 billion across the economies of Asia Pacific and is a major generator of economic activity for both tourism and marketing services. ICESAP members are individuals & organisations made up of customers, intermediary agencies and the suppliers of products & services to the Incentive Conference & Event (IC&E) industry across Asia Pacific.
ICESAP is governed by a President, Nigel Gaunt and an 20 member Advisory Board made up of ICESAP members from the Corporate, Agency & Supplier categories of membership.
ICESAP’s four KPI’s for 2016 are;
1. To foster higher standards of professional business practices amongst the agencies and supply chain, which provide the organisation, project management and other professional products and services to its IC&E clients.
2. To promote IC&E to business leaders as a communications, performance improvement & consumer engagement tool which continues to outperform other forms of marketing in driving market share, stakeholder engagement and sales results.
3. To encourage IC&E business to stay within Asia Pacific; in 2015 approximately 80% of the US$150 billion of IC&E business came from clients within Asia Pacific, keeping the economic benefit in our region.
4. To communicate to the tourism industry the need to cater to the specific needs of Incentive Travel, Conference & Events (IC&E) industry and continue to innovate in this regard ICESAP was admitted as a member of the Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC) the Brussels based global peak body for the IC&E industry in 2015.
